Corinne McCarthy

Corinne McCarthy is an Associate of Amis, Patel & Brewer, LLP.  Corinne’s practice is focused on representing project developers, owners, sponsors and investors in the energy and sustainability sectors regarding a broad range of matters relating to project finance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development, ownership and operation.

Corinne has experience in drafting and negotiating various project documents including engineering, procurement, and construction agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, equipment supply agreements, and offtake agreements for a range of energy technologies, including offshore and onshore wind, solar (both utility-scale and C&I projects), battery storage and natural gas technologies.  She has advised clients on complex debt and equity financing transactions, many of which have involved tax equity structures.  Corinne has also assisted clients with dispositions and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, including drafting of operating agreements for development partnerships.

Corinne graduated from Emory University School of Law with honors and published a student note in the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.  While in law school, Corinne completed an externship for Southern Company within their Corporate Governance and AFT Legal Group that involved securities and corporate governance matters.

Prior to law school, Corinne worked for a national engineering firm that assisted clients in the development of renewable and conventional energy projects.  She received her BA in environmental science from Franklin and Marshall College where she was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude.
